Have virus protection software on your computer at home.
Use both letters and numbers when creating a secret password.
Check the security offered by your bank at their official web site.
Notify your bank if you lose your pin number or cards.
Keep your password secret.
Contact the bank if you are ‘locked out’ because you have entered the wrong pin three times.
Change your password regularly.
Remember to log out when you have finished.
Tell anybody your secret password.
Store your customer logon and password together.
Use your date of birth as a password.
Use your street name or telephone number as a password.
Let anybody else access your banking facilities.
Store your customer ID and password in your email or on your computer.
Use numbers that follow one another, for example 123456.
Don’t use the same password for all your accounts and logons.
